The National Employment Savings Trust (NEST) Corporation is the trustee of the NEST occupational pension scheme. The scheme, which is run on a not-for-profit basis, ensures that all employers have access to suitable, low-charge pension provision to meet their new duty to enrol all eligible workers into a workplace pension automatically.
NEST are seeking to appoint four members with responsibility for Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, Investment and Customer and Digital Management.
Candidates for the Audit role should have audit skills including strong financial literacy and CCAB qualification; experience of internal and external audit; and a working knowledge of audit committee practices, risk management frameworks and / or monitoring internal control processes.
Applicants for the Enterprise Risk Management role should have experience of implementation and operation of strategic level Enterprise Risk appetite and tolerance of an organisation; knowledge of Cyber and Information Security risks that threaten large scale financial organisation; and up to date knowledge of Financial Crime risks that threaten a large scale financial and on-line e-business.
Candidates for the Investment Member role should have investment skills including experience of defined contribution experience; providing oversight of broad range asset classes; and monitoring risk management including environmental social and governance risks.
Applicants for the Customer and Digital role should have experience of developing and delivering customer technology solutions (big data & behavioural applications); delivering and monitoring customer services within a broad customer base; knowledge of the wider digital landscape & innovation (consumer facing industries); and an understanding of brand development.
Time: Customer and Digital Role – 20 days per year. Trustee Members – 30 days per year.
Remuneration: Customer and Digital Role – £12,700 per annum. Trustee Members – £19,050 per year.
