NHS Digital are seeking three Non-Executive Directors, one of whom will chair the Information Assurance and Cyber Security Committee.
Applications are sought from candidates with senior leadership experiences and the ability to operate effectively on the Board of a high-profile national organisation. Successful candidates should have an awareness of the key challenges faced by the public sector and be able to use sound judgement to guide NHS Digital’s strategic direction; have an understanding of corporate governance, accountability, risk and financial management; and excellent communication skills.
Applicants seeking to Chair the Information Assurance and Cyber Security Committee should be able to work at a high-level across cyber security, information and data governance, operational risk management, assurance and internal control function. An understanding of Government Security requirements and the safe management of public data is desirable.
Time: 2 to 3 days per month.
Remuneration: Chair of the Assurance and Cyber Security Committee – £13,137 per year. Members – £7,883 per year.
