The Police and National Crime Agency Remuneration Review Bodies make independent recommendations to the government on the pay and allowances of National Crime Agency officers designated with operational powers.

The Police and National Crime Agency Remuneration Review Bodies are seeking a Chair and three Members.

Applicants for the role of chair should be able to operate strategically within a complex organisation, a record of senior leadership, and senior level chairing experience. Successful candidates should have an appreciation of the policy, financial and operational constraints that impact on remuneration decisions; have an understanding of pay, remuneration, performance management and reward issues; and be able to represent and lead a body to command the confidence of key stakeholders.

Candidates for the Member roles should be able to operate strategically within a complex organisation; have an appreciation of the policy, financial and operational constraints that impact on remuneration decisions; have a broad understanding of pay, remuneration, performance management and reward issues and have a wider appreciation of the law enforcement sector. Applicant should be able to demonstrate experience of one the following skills: operating at a senior level within Northern Ireland and have appreciation of the context of policing within Northern Ireland and the broader labour markets context; senior level experience in staff representation; and / or senior level experience in policing.

Time: Chair – 25 to 27 days per year. Members – 20 days per year.

Remuneration: Chair – £350 per day. Member – £300 per day.
